[AWW YISS I GOT MY REPLIES DONE]
[At least, I think that was all of them…]
[If I still owe you something, let me know!]
[Off to do my last set of replies on my last RP blog…]
The angel couldn’t help but to leave her mouth agape for a fraction of second, this one quickly morphing into a sincere smirk that one could say beamed with eagerness. She had gotten inside out of mere curiosity and with aid of her own wings, and the small fairies didn’t mind either because she didn’t look like a threat or they were too busy. “I’d love to!” Her wings battered in the sheer of excitement and she nodded more intently than she wanted. “I-I mean, it would be my great pleasure.”
"Wonderful!" Tooth exclaimed, her wings lifting her higher into the air as she beamed happily. "I don’t get enough visitors! Follow me!" Without waiting, she zipped off towards the castle gardens, stopping at the edge of the trees to wait for the angel. The gardens were blooming with tropical flowers of all shapes and sizes and colors, transforming the place into a blossoming rainbow. "These are the palace gardens. Aren’t they beautiful? I care for them myself!" She smiled proudly. "Feel free to have a look, if you’d like."
The great wolf suddenly locked eyes with her, green eyes hard but not by anger. “It is the only way for me,” he said, his tone absolute. “I have made my decision, and I shall abide by it.” He could not see himself making any other decision but fulfill revenge. How else would the anger from within his being subside? How else would he be free from the blood-drenched nightmares that constantly hounded his mind at night?
“It shall be justice,” he declared. “Odin and his brood are an unjust lot. If anything, I will be doing Asgard the greatest of favors by killing them. They tried to change their fate, and through their attempts they only set it into stone. They shall receive what they deserve.”
"Are you absolutely sure? You couldn’t just… oh, maybe talk it out?" Tooth knew it was hopeless to even suggest such a circumstance, but she figured she might as well try. She had no right herself to preach against violence when she had received her own vengeance - perhaps not by her hands, but the creatures of the jungle had done her work for her, and she had gotten what she’d wanted. The man who destroyed her family and her life had been terminated.
Sighing, she reached out a small hand and placed it gently on his shoulder. “I understand why you feel this way. It can be hard - so very, very hard - not to feel this way. Wanting revenge for the injustices in your life is only natural. I’m not saying it’s the right path to take - I’m definitely not saying that. But, if it is what you feel you must do, then…” The fairy pulled her hand back. “I’m not going to be the one to stop you.”
The Nightmare King attempted to dismiss the strange and small development of feelings he had somehow come to recognize the day before.
“I couldn’t care either way.”
Tooth felt her shoulders slump and her smile falter, just the slightest. It wasn’t the answer she’d wanted, but she couldn’t say she hadn’t been expecting it. “Are you… are you sure? There isn’t anything you need help with, or…?”
Of course, she couldn’t think of a thing he might need help with. What good could the Tooth Fairy be to the Nightmare King?
“No, I’m not. Just like visiting here, that’s all. This planet never fails to amaze me. It’s so… New.” The Doctor explained, his head bobbing from on side to the other as the words spewed from his lips. His smile grew upon his thin lips as the woman’s pride of her deduction skills slipped into her expression. It was rather entertaining to see her excitement. Honestly, for the longest time- well, when he was younger, about 80 years or so, he never thought that he was the alien. Actually, he thought the humans or the other species he met who dubbed him the title to be the actual aliens. Though, as years went by, he figured it was all in the eyes of the beholder. That made some sense, didn’t it? Of course it did.
“Yep, Timelord. From the planet Galifrey, in the constellation of Kasterborous. No? You haven’t heard of it?” He inquired, a brow raising in slight confusion. Well, that was odd. Well, for anyone who wasn’t a human, that is.
"New? Oh, I don’t know about that. It’s been around for a pretty long time, if you ask me." Tooth could remember when the mountains had climbed to the sky, thousands upon thousands of years before. She could remember when people befriended the wind and when tales of the Man in the Moon and the Sandman and the Tooth Fairy were widely known, and everyone could see her. She could even remember a time before toothpaste. ”But it really is a lovely world, isn’t it? I mean, when you take out all of the bad parts. We’ve got some of the brightest minds, here on Earth. And I’ve got all of their baby teeth!” She beamed with pride, as if she was the mother of all the brilliant humans of the past.
"I can’t say I have heard of it," the fairy admitted a bit sheepishly. "Sorry! It sounds lovely, though. ‘Galifrey.’ ‘Kasterborous.’ Has a nice ring to it!"
[Sorry, everybody. I’ve totally been neglecting my RP blogs.]
[All of April and a good amount of May so far has been completely insane. I had the play and the end of track, the college board exam on Wednesday, my show choir audition on Friday… I’ve got an audition for Les Miserables tomorrow and an audition for the school production of Legally Blonde coming up in two weeks. Research papers to write, books to read, concerts to perform… it’s been much more ridiculous than I was expecting]
[So for right now, I guess I’m kind of on a short hiatus? Just until things get less nuts around here… the year is winding down and I’ll have a lot more time once school is done. And I’ll try to get things done during the weekends too. I feel really bad about keeping you guys all waiting, but I know who I owe and I WILL get my replies done as soon as I possibly can. This goes for all my RP blogs]
[I’ll be back whenever I can. Also, you can usually find me on my personal blog during the evenings while I’m doing my homework, so if anybody wants to chat, I’ll be there.]
[Reblogging from my Hela because relevant.]
[APUS Semester Exam is today. The good news is, after today I won’t have staggering amounts of homework to deal with at night so I’ll actually have time to spend here. The bad news is I was working until eleven last night and I still have exactly ONE assignment left to do before seventh hour today]
[Anyways, point is, I will actually be able to get my replies out to everybody starting today after school. Thanks so much everybody for being patient :3]
[Reblogging from my personal.]
[I know I owe the-cupid, fenrir-the-great-wolf, fearling-king, littlefrostlette, theraggedymadman, and notthatuseless].
[Anybody else, like this if I owe you]
[Working on homework all day today. That means no more replies for the rest of the day. Sorry! But guess what? This next weekend is the weekend of the play at my school, and once the play is over I WILL HAVE INFINITELY MORE FREE TIME]
[WHICH MEANS MORE REPLIES EHEHE]
[Better yet, track will be done the week after that, and the college board exam I’ve been cramming for is on the 15th. Which is awesome because that means the 15th is the day I finally am free from hours and hours of history homework.]
[TL;DR - I won’t be on for the rest of today but in the next few weeks I’ll have more time to get on the computer and finish replies.]
[Later, lovelies :3]
[Reblogging from my personal.]
Jack had finally returned to Burgess after spending so long away from it ad he’d spent the day hanging out with Jamie and Sophie and a few of the other children for a good portion of the day before they’d had to go home. Jack chuckled as he walked down a sidewalk, dragging his staff alongside him and causing ice patterns to form on the concrete. He stared up at the sky for a few minutes, before he turned and began to walk back down the sidewalk, lightly lifting into the air as he got ready to head off to the woods where he’d find a place to rest for the night.
His actions were halted however when out of the corner of his eye, he thought he saw a familiar brightly colored figure disappear through the trees. Jack instantly changed direction, flying over the tops of the buildings and over the tree tops to stare down at his friend. She looked as if she was in pain, Jack thought with concern and he lowered himself down to the ground, racing to Tooth’s side and getting down onto his knees beside her. “Tooth? What’s wrong, what happened?” Jack questioned, his worry showing on his face and in his voice.
Tooth wasn’t entirely sure where she’d flown to - in her agony, she’d escaped and gone as far as her wings could take her before collapsing. She’d hoped nobody would find her there, but when she heard Jack’s voice, it almost seemed as if her pulse had come to a screeching halt. She glanced up at him with fearful eyes, her arms wrapped tightly around herself.
"It’s - it’s some sort of magic," she explained, her voice a wretched gasp. She’d dealt with magic plenty of times before, but never had she experienced any sort of sorcery such as this. It was terrifying - and Tooth rarely ever found herself afraid. "It - it hurts, Jack.” A new wave of pain crashed over her and she let out a tormented groan, nearly being knocked over. Her hands flew forward to catch herself, to hold herself up, but she could not imagine staying like this for another minute, let alone two days. “It burns.”
[So sorry I haven’t been on much lately! Things have been crazy. I’ve been spending most of my free time on my other two RP blogs and not as much on here as I’d like to.]
[BUT! I’ll be free to do the replies I owe this weekend. Thanks everybody for being so patient :3]
